There are a variety of online services available to our membership. You are able to order your share drafts (checks) on line, complete applications for loans, checking accounts, or debit cards. You may also contact us via email. (Please allow 2 business days for a response.)
Our newest service - Members@Home - allows our members to view their account balances, transfer between checking and savings, make loan payments from checking or savings, view cleared checks, order stop payments, order copies of cleared checks, and much more! Sign up today for online access by going to the Members@Home site, click on "Sign Up" and complete the online enrollment form. Allow 2 business days for your access to be activated. Once activated, you will need your account number and your Personal Identification Number (PIN) assigned to you by the credit union to access your account. Sears Federal Credit Union strongly suggests that you change your PIN on your first visit to a number that is significant only to you. Please safeguard this information just as you would your account number or other personal information.
E-Statements
Receive your statements electronically and enjoy safety, timeliness, and convenience. Sign up for E-Statements today and opt-out of receiving a paper statement in the mail. Each month you will receive an e-mail notifying you that your statement is available online through our website. To sign up for E-Statements, go to the Services section at Members@Home and fill out the Change Statement Options request form. You can opt-out for e-statements and e-mail notification with your current e-mail address.
Bill Pay
With Electronic Bill Paying from Sears Federal Credit Union, you don't need stamps, a post office or much time. Wouldn't it be nice to pay and send all of your bills for the month in 10 minutes?
You control which bills are paid, the amounts paid and when the money is deducted from your share draft account. You set the bills up for payment quickly and easily by adding the vendor to your personal payment list. It's a simple matter of entering your account number, the date you want the bills paid, and the amount of the transaction!
Don't get left behind. Choose the fast lane on your credit union's electronic highway. Get Bill-Pay. It's secure, it's fast, and transactions have never been more convenient. Pay an unlimited number of bills for only $4.99 per month.
You must be have a Share Draft/Checking account to use Bill-Pay. To apply, simply click here. To access, go to Members@Home and click on Bill Pay.
Get Your VISA Verified
If you use the Internet to make purchases, take advantage of "Verified by VISA." This free service from VISA ensures that only you can use your VISA card to make online purchases.
Enrolling in Verified by VISA is easy. Just go to their Web site, www.visa.com/verified. You will be asked for your card's account number, expiration date, CVV2 code (the three numbers that appear next to your account number printed in the signature panel on the back of your credit card), cardholder name, social security number and phone number. You will then be asked to create a password. You will also be asked for a question that only you know the answer to. If you forget your password, or if your password is entered incorrectly three times while you're making an online purchase, you will be asked this question. Your response will determine if you can proceed with your online purchase.
Once you have established your password, use your VISA QUICK CHECK CARD at participating online stores. For a list of these stores, follow the "Shop with Verified by VISA" link on the VISA Web site. Some of the participating retailers include walmart.com, walgreens.com, target.com, and officemax.com.
When you are ready to make your online purchase, you will enter your VISA number and submit your order like usual. A new window will appear, and you will submit your Verified by VISA password. Your identity will be confirmed, and you'll be done.
Again, this is an absolutely free service offered by VISA. Sears Federal Credit Union encourages all of its Members with a VISA Quick Check Card to take advantage of this fraud-preventing service.
